All of my students: the past, present and future members of Room 17 at the C.T. Douglas School. Without you, I would never be embarking upon this trip of a lifetime!
Athens, Delphi, Pella, Ephesus, Cappadocia, Istanbul...In my wildest dreams did I ever think I would visit all of these places?
On June 11 I will join fifteen teachers from across the country to participate in this year's Fulbright Hays Seminar Abroad Program in Greece and Turkey. My colleagues and I will explore the ancient and modern worlds of these two countries, "building bridges across the Aegean." This fabulous journey will span five weeks and hundreds of miles. It is unlikely that words or photos will do justice to all I see and experience on my trip, but I have to try, don't I? Welcome to my travel diary.
Merhaba!
What an adventure! I will enjoy following it!
